| - My husband and I found Bolt Barbers while roaming Container Park. It's located in the back of the park, past the tree house, occupying two black train cars. We were very curious about a barber shop location within an old train car! Walking in, we were hit with cold A/C. A good start considering the 100+ degree weather outside. It was a cool space with a retro, vintage feel. Skull head statues, large black and white barber chairs, flat screen TV, and theatre-like black fold down waiting chairs.
The guys here were friendly and welcoming. My husband walked in with no appointment, but was helped immediately. He was set up in the far end of the shop right in front of a flat screen TV. I was given a nearby seat along the side the train car. We were both offered complimentary cold drinks, such as water, Mexican Coke, or Fanta. A nice gesture. My husband's barber was Luis and they had a good time chatting during the hair service. Luis had a talented hand with clippers and scissors. Luis took time to work on my husband's hair, and checked periodically with him on how he liked his hair to be cut. The hair cut took about 45 minutes.
Price: $30 for a hair cut. Credit cards accepted via Square.
Definitely recommend seeing Luis at Bolt Barbers!
