  • Dave accepted a job to do a little custom machining on my Nighthawk T3 .45, said it could be done and sent back to me within a week. What a kidder! He just didn't say which week! Instead of getting it back the week after he received it, it was over 108 days before my attorney had to contact California DOJ to report the loss of my weapon in transit or by the FFL it was sent to and surprise! Surprise! The pistol was returned to the FFL that sent it to him on my behalf within a week. Funny, but I guess I missed the part where he was going to go up to Utah to work on some project at Cobalt Kinetics, leaving the work he promised in a week for some other week. Guess when he said it would be done within a week, I missed just which week he intended to do it. Get everything in writing, and keep several copies. Expect less.
