This place was known previously as "The Grind" which is in the Fry's Shopping Center on the Southeast corner of Hayden & Thompson Peak. We live nearby and are so happy to see a nice place with good food at fair prices come into our neighborhood. Too many restaurants around here think because it's North Scottsdale that the residents don't care about the prices. I've never posted on Yelp before, but my wife & I were so impressed with Miller's that I had to sign up.
There are about 15 tables inside plus a bar with several TV's. The outdoor patio is gorgeous with several heaters if needed and shaded from the direct sunlight.
The Happy Hour gives customers nicely discounted drinks and appetizers. I'm pretty sure it lasts until 7pm which is an hour longer than most other places around here.
So far, we have tried the Reuben, Tuna Melt, French Onion Soup and Latke's. All of these were great. I came back for lunch one day and had the Turkey Burger. This was juicy and delicious when most Turkey Burgers are not. They serve it on a Pretzel Bun that compliments the meat perfectly. We look forward to trying the Potato Knish as the other poster mentioned. No matter what you order, the portions are generous. I was worried initially that because of the lower prices the amount of food would be chincy. That was definitely not the case.
The owner is a stickler about cleanliness and customer service. The place is spotless and the servers are knowledgeable & friendly.
So far so good Miller's. We hope you hang around for a long time!
