  • I am new to attempting to sew or create my own things, I have no idea what I am doing. I figured I can go to Jo Ann's and have an associate show me the correct materials and tools. I asked for help and the female employee just pointed to a section and told me I might find it over there. I tried to ask a follow-up question and she walked away. Turns out it was the wrong product and my project turned out horrible. I went back thinking it was just her and found out it must be store policy. I spoke with two employees and neither would help me, I was completely ignored. I asked the manager if this is store policy, he said no and he will talk to those employees. Ok, great, but can you now get someone to help me before I leave? Nope. He walked out the store and I just left right behind him. Very frustrating! Thank God for Yelp. I was able to find another business in town with great reviews that could accomodate me.
