  • My boyfriend and I want both a nice brunch and a relaxing Sunday in on our day off, we opted for the best of both and decided to order delivery. We found Mon Ami Gabi on Postmates. My boyfriend got the Croque Monsieur, I got the Corned Beef Hash with Poached Eggs, and we got their Lemon Skinny Pancake to share. Upon receiving our food, we were very disappointed to find they had forgotten the Mornay sauce for the Croque Monsieur, which is a pretty significant part of the dish and the main reason he ordered it. He basically received just a ham and cheese sandwich. Because we had ordered delivery, there was no way for us to fix this mistake. Despite missing the sauce, the sandwich was very tasty, as was the rest of the food. My corned beef hash was delicious and the eggs were poached perfectly even though they sat through delivery. Our favorite was the lemon pancake. It was huge and similar to a crepe with a slightly chewy (in a good way) texture. The lemon marmalade and fresh vanilla whipped cream that accompanied it were also phenomenal. We will likely be back as the food was great, I just wish a they had paid a little more attention to detail, especially for an such integral part of the dish, which is why I took off a couple stars.
