I have been going to this restaurant for over 7 years and it is just as amazing as the first time I ever visited! It is very small, maybe only seating 30 people max. They have about 4 tables that are set up outside as well. The restaurant is decorated in New Orleans mardi gras theme. Their specialty gouda grits are savory and such a great side dish for anything they have on the menu! I typically order the bronzed catfish which is salty, charred, and perfection really.
I love this restaurant. It's a hidden gem that I've been frequenting for years. It is reasonably priced and the staff is very friendly. You can tell when you dine that this is a locals spot and the restaurant has worked on creating loyalty with their guests.
