This place was previously a Brulerie St-Denis with amazing coffee, but since they changed to Brulerie Urbaine the quality went downhill.
I got a cocoa hollandais with l'ecureuil (a pastry), I was not impressed by them. The hot coco tasted like it was made with supermarket's coco powder, it was too heavy and I felt nauseous after finishing it. The pastry was smaller than my palm, and costed $7. Honestly I can get a pack of 5 for $10 in a nearby grocery store.
What really thrown me off was that the waitress never cleaned the table when we sat down. It had sauce and crumbles all over it. We waited 10 min and ended up cleaning the table ourselves. The waitress brought the bill when we were only half way through, it felt like she was rushing us. Bad experience.
