  • Love how this place feels. Definitely love the area with excellent restaurants nearby like Aunt Chiladas, nail salon and sandwich shop around the corner, and highway access. The walls are almost sound-proof as I live next to the trash shoot, elevator, and stairwell and really can't complain about any noise from any of that. I love the shush of the pool fountains during the day, it helps to drown background noises. The grounds have been well-maintained for the last 6 months, and they offer once a month free events for residents. My move in experience was not good at all, and I was frustrated with the lack of remediation efforts to fix my complaints over my first month. When I walked in to move in, the appliances were all pulled out, the floors were filthy and I could see where everyone had been walking thru for the last year. I had asked them to turn the air conditioner up hours before because it was about 116 out that day and the lady who entered the Apt to do this task, only turned the fan on and said she "didn't see" the appliances all pulled out or tool chest or dirty floor. About a week later my dog had fleas and luckily she had just been to the vet and I had paperwork to prove she had been thoroughly checked over to prove they weren't there before. But while they were bombing the place, I had to call off work 3 times to take my dog "out" for 2-5 hours during the process. They should have given me one of their open apartments to let my dog stay in for the afternoon, or paid for an afternoon of dog-sitting in my opinion, because the whole thing was ridiculously inconvenient, and the bug-guys gave a two day window with no times assigned each time they came out. The maintenance staff were the only ones apologetic and they are always incredibly nice and are friendly. And since then I haven't had any real issues here.
