I have been going to AJ's for a long time (since about 2009). I needed a mechanic that is a straight shooter, and will tell you not just how to fix what is wrong but explain what we should do next. I have several cars and a very old RV that I take to him. They need different levels of care, and frankly some fixes become priority while others are not worth the investment (on a 30 year old vehicle).
AJ works with me every time. I recently had a leak in my fuel line going to the carb. They have worked on the carb several times, and while they did not cause the leak I knew they could fix it quickly. Sure enough, they had to diagnose that it was simply loose connections and the lines apart and reseat them. After looking at it a while, and actually fixing the problem, no charge!
I have always had a fair deal with AJ. It does not always come out as inexpensive as I would like (when getting things fixed it never does), but they give you a good fair deal and you know he has your back. It takes a long time to find somebody you can trust.
