  • Find another OBGYN. I went to this office for my first child for the convenience. They will schedule you early in the morning or late afternoon and they have a lab and ultrasound on site. However, the care is sub-par. I had many appointments there, however, the doctors and nurse practitioners I met over and over again never remembered me. When my water broke and I went to the hospital, I was laboring 18 hours before the doctor on call would even come into my room and introduce herself (I had never met her before). When I started to push, this doctor was literally sleeping on a stool sitting in front of me, then excused herself to take a nap while I pushed another 3 hours. Finally another doctor came on call (not from VWFW) and saved me and I ended up with a c-section. Then at my six week and post natal checks, the doctor asked me each time: "so, did you have a vaginal birth or cesarean?" UM, DON'T YOU HAVE THAT INFO IN MY CHART?? Unbelievable. The billing is horrible as well. They gave me a quote for what I would owe out of pocket, promised that was all I would owe (which I paid before delivery), then after my delivery, they said I owed them another $400. Nobody could explain where the discrepancy was and I can't seem to get a detailed bill from them no matter how many times I call or write. My advice is find a good OBGYN that is recommended through word of mouth and avoid baby factories like Valley Women for Women.
