This restaurant has a cool, trendy vibe following a school theme. We were seated right away during lunch time and were served food in good time.
I order the chicken and waffles with a maple latte. The maple latte was good but a little too sweet for my tastes. Chicken waffle was pretty good but I would have liked a lighter, less dense waffle. The chicken was cooked well at the right crispiness. Their hot syrup sauce had a mild kick to it which was interesting.
The downside to the food was that I found several pieces of hair or some sort of fiber deep fried into my batter. I took pictures of a few pieces I could find but I'm pretty sure there were more that I ate because towards the end of the meal, I just keep finding new pieces of fiber. Not appealing at all. They definitely weren't chicken hair or anything that you would find in a dish. That's why I'm giving this place a two star instead of three. The food was otherwise acceptable in taste.
