I bought a Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland from Prestige and I now need to get the first oil change done. I was told the service is only performed by appointment so I made one for 10 AM today. When I pull into the service bay, the service writer tells me it is going to be 2-3 hours. What is the point of making an appointment if you still have to wait this long for an oil change that realistically takes 15 minutes. Not acceptable and so I left.
The one star is because I wasted an hour of my day off to get what should have been a quick oil change. The service writer that told me it would be 2-3 hours needs to be educated on what it means to have an appointment. Unfortunately he wasn't wearing a name tag so indent have his name. I've also asked to have the service manager (JR) call me. I'm curious if this will happen.
I swore I would never own another domestic car because the service you get at the audi dealerships can't be beat. I'm hoping this is an isolated incident.
Please read some of the other recent reviews related to the service department. This seems to be a recurring problem.
