  • I had a groupon for a highlight, cut, and deep conditioning treatment. The highlight took 2 hours and when she put me under the dryer said the color was still uneven. She suggested a toner. I agreed. I have blonde hair, so was puzzled as to how bleach would not be blonder looking. She told me after she washed out my hair that I could always wash my hair with Dawn dish soap if I wanted to brighten my look. After that was established, she took to cutting my hair. That took 3 minutes as she said she could not trim my hair without taking off inches. Sigh. Ok. When I asked about the deep conditioning, she said she put it in the toner. At that point I wanted to just go home. I left with my hair looking just a little blonder than my regular color. Definitely no highlight. I waited a couple weeks to finally call and complain. I tried the dish soap and was hoping it would brighten up. My hair is terrible. And no one called me back as promised when I called...but the receptionist made it clear I waited a long time to call. The reviews I read on Groupon don't match the quality of service I received.
