On the day I went here for lunch with a colleague, I talked about how sick of the city I was during the drive over. Then we walked into this place at a strip mall and it felt like I was transported to a small town grocery store that could have been in my rural hometown back east or even in Italy. The family establishment vibe permeated the entire trip. The service was very friendly. And the food is amazing. I could eat lunch here every day. It is very difficult to choose what to order because it all looks so good. I had the sandwich special of the day, and it was fabulous. My colleague shared her potato salad with me and It was the best I've ever had. I would like to go back and shop for deli meat and sausages.
When we checked out, an older gentleman in front of us was moved to sing a song in Italian to the clerk after commenting on how the store reminded him of his youth.
My colleague got a bunch of cookies and treats to go. They were consumed rapidly by our office mates upon our return.
