  • If I could, I'd give half a star. Do not go here unless it is a life and death matter. Even then, if you have options take them. I had a nasty upper respiratory/sinus infection that had been going on too long. I figured I'll just get some antibiotics and kill it. I have insurance but had not met my deductible yet. I was in the doctor's care for maybe three minutes and the bill was over 200. With my deductible not paid, I had to pay that out of pocket. That is what my insurance company told me. She told me I was charged for a 20 minute visit. When I called UMC to let them know they charged me wrong, they never called me back. The doctor gave me codeine cough medicine that I did not ask for or need. It still sits in the refrigerator a year later. I am sure some loser out there would like it! Why am I just now writing? We are trying to refi our home and I pulled our credit reports. Reports were stellar except UMC lost the final payment and turned us into collections with out any communication! I have spent the last 90 minutes talking to a collection agency and printing off reports and proof to them to get this crap removed from our credit reports! Seriously? This outfit is embarrassing, Just saying! Stay away!
