| - It is unfortunate, but I have set my mind to move out of this community solely because of the HOA because of the way they treat us. They are often very disrespectful and authoritative, and micromanaged everything as if you are some sort of criminal. One day, I was walking my dogs and got yelled at one of the "board member" because she didn't see me with poop bags. First, I was surprised by a stranger speaking to me in such an accusatory tone, but I composed myself and I asked her how does she know if my dogs have already eliminated and their poops were discarded accordingly. To my surprise, she did not know that bags were placed at community park, right above the poop trash - just to get her off my back, I told her that I would carry extra bags and make sure they are visible to anyone in the future. I don't think she got the sarcasm though. On the other hand, I see all kind of stuff on the side walks including broken glasses and used needles which haven't been picked up for months. A couple months ago, their security tried to tow my car out of my own drive way because it was parked slightly off (about couple inches into side walks) and my tag was "expired". Well, my tag has been renewed and it was on its way. I should not have to explain that to them since they are not police - if they were, then they should have been able to verify the info by simply using their database to look my plate up. I was at home and they didn't even care to let me know - as soon as I came out of the house to speak with them, they ran away. They have ticketed our contractors and maids for parking their car in front of our home. Now I'm receiving mysterious bills of $375 and when I called the number listed, no one answers. No voice mail is set up to speak with anyone, so I assume I have to write to them via email ? I don't understand - why don't they list the email address on the letter then ? No explanation is available from a letter demanding for additional fee, and they are not good at replying back to me on time. No wonder many houses in this community are vacant, I can't wait to move out of here myself.
