Earnhardt Hyundai @ SanTan. Not clear to me who's at fault, Hyundai dealership or Hyundai Corporation. Will shorten story. 2012 Santa Fe. Cruise control worked intermittently & and loud intermittent whistling air leak around door. Couple of trips to try to fix, Earnhardt shop says they could not replicate issue on either visit. They finally replaced the windshield as they said the "think they heard" a wind noise there. That did not fix the problem. Whistled loud as ever. I then took IPAD with me whenever I drove the Santa Fe and when cruise failed to set I took a video of it twice along with the vehicle speed, and, video of me trying to set cruise. Also, when door leak whistled I was able to clearly record it on IPAD. Now I have video proof that the items are reality. Took that to Earnhardt. They told me that was interesting and I clearly had a problem but unless they could recreate it, they would not repair it. Contacted Hyundai Customer rep and relayed the story. His attitude was that the dealer is right and nothing he could do and I just have to keep taking it back until they could recreate the problem. I would have been better off talking to a tree stump, at least I would not have had to listen to a condescending jerk. Sold the Santa Fe. Don't be fooled by their promised warranty. Getting them to honor it is more than I could do.
