| - I don't like renting cars. But when my car decided it would act like a spoiled Orange County trophy wife and require visits to two separate shops in the span of a week, I didn't really have a choice.
After spending 5 minutes singing tenderly to my dashboard in the parking lot, I walked in the front door of Enterprise ready to find out what fantastic automobile would be mine to tool around in for the next few days.
This place sort of feels like it's run by a bunch of immediately-out-of-university marketing grads. That's not to say I got bad service, but it was a little bit disconcerting. Still, I was helped promptly.
Price was never actually discussed. I'm still not even sure whether they charged my card or ran it through my insurance. That was a bit weird. But soon enough I got my choice of vehicles:
Did I want..... a Ford Fusion, or Dodge Avenger?!
Choices, choices! I had expected perhaps a lender Porsche, but settled on the Avenger for reasons I can only explain as "Avenger sounds more manly than Fusion"
We did a walk around. No issues to speak of. Then, I was off and running in a foreign car that I didn't understand and had forgotten to adjust the mirrors of.
Luckily, nobody was injured during my 12 minute drive to work.
When I dropped their car back off, I was driven over to Confident PDR to pick up my car without incident. It was nice of them to do that - spared me the terrible chore of having to burn calories and be outdoors for more than 5 minutes.
Thanks, Enterprise!
