My friend is here from Nashville so wanted to try this restaurant because of hearing great things about it. I must say I was really disappointed. We arrived at 1pm and ordered the pear and cheese salad and the hash of the day. We waited almost 30 minutes to be served. The restaurant was about 1/3 full, not what I would consider busy. The salad had 4 pieces of pear that seemed a bit old. It mostly was spring mix with a few clumps of the cheese. Priced around $13.00 , it was not worth it. The hash also, seemed like it was not fresh although the egg on top was freshly cooked. We waited for the waiter to ask if we wanted desert but , finally had to flag him down. We were told to go over to the counter to pick out a desert if we wanted one. We selected the lemon tart and a raspberry meringue cup. We told the girl and she said ok , but then again, had to tell the waiter we had selected our desert. Deserts were very mediocre as well and consisted of 2 small bites each.
We waited for our check, but again, had to flag down the waiter to get it. The restaurant is adorable, but the food and service were really a huge let down. I would suggest Brio over this any day to get scrumptious food and great service. Craft Kitchen is highly over rated.
