  • Occasionally we all come across a rude person in retail. Today I came across one at this Home Depot. Maybe one of the rudest ever. When I ask to speak to her manager, she refused and offered to have a customer service rep talk to me. Instead I called the store phone number to ask for the manager. I guy who identified himself as a manager spoke with me by phone then said he would come out where I was. During our discussion he seemed very disinterested but at least ask "What do you want?" I replied "An apology." He responded "Why?" That told me all I needed to know to determine if I would ever do business with them again. A business has to try to get one star from me. It's hard to do but occasionally one achieves it.
