  • You can't wear your glasses! I'm a wuss -- I wimped out. I am afraid of heights and once up there and strapped in the chair I absolutely was, "no way, no way!" and they let me off. My friend went on ahead. You need to know: if you wear glasses, they make you take them OFF, so my friend really couldn't see anything. (I, personally, woulda counted that a blessing.) OR, you can pay a couple of bucks for a lanyard to put on your glasses. I suppose you can bring your own, so think about it. She was disappointed. Not much of a ride. It doesn't go fast, and since she couldn't see anything, what was the point? What freaked me -- beside the height -- was that you're just in a little chair, nothing to hold onto, and strapped in with a seat belt. I KNOW it was safe, but just couldn't do it. And check the prices before you buy a Groupon or Living Social. We paid more than we would have if we'd just walked in! The "two-for-one" drink deal is only at the VooDoo Lounge and since we were there during the day, it wasn't even open. I'm sure one of the zip line people woulda mixed us a drink, but for the price of one drink at a LV nightclub, you could buy a whole bottle at the market, you know? Not saying this isn't a fun thing to do -- you might love it -- but just be aware. The High Roller is a much better deal -- more fun, great views and not at all scary.
