2.10.17: Sometimes going with a local Hawaiian to a Hawaiian restaurant really has perks. We came at a really odd hour so there were only one other party there. Once we walked in it was like hello, hello, welcome, welcome..There were so many workers there greeting us. I think that's normal though. They're a friendly bunch.
I wasn't too hungry so I didn't order anything but did try a few things from others. The poke bowl looks so good. The Tuna was on point and delicious and abundance. The plain ahi poke was also good but a bit too much soy sauce for me. Tasted salty.
The service was good and the food came fast. The main thing I liked was the malasadas. They did it right. It was fresh and hot and fluffy. We got the plain ones without filling and dang it was the best thing I ate all day. So good.
Side note: We came on our last day in Vegas and got some Malasadas to go. It was not the same at all. Was pretty disappointed. So when you do go get it ask for the fresh out of the fryer ones. =)
