What a disappointment! I took my son to see Dr. Sirsy in March because he was sick. Upon check in I paid $80 for the exam. I gave the doctor a list of symptoms bothering my son. Dr. Sirsy's exam consisted of looking inside my sons ear and prescribing him antibiotics. He did not listen to his lungs or do any other exam. He spent less than 5 minutes in the exam room. I left disappointed and vowed never to come back. This past weekend I received a collection agency bill stating I owed ABC Pediatrics $61. I called as soon as the office opened and spoke with Vaness. I explained I was deeply troubled to have a received a collection agency letter since I never received a bill from the office. She said they sent a bill out in March and called in June . I said I never received the bill and no one left a message in June. I keep all medical records, statements and receipts because I was wrongly billed in the past. She said she would talk to her billing lady and call me back in 30 min. Seven hours later she calls back and changes her story that she sent two statements and made 2 calls. Vaness said her billing lady would not help either. That I can not pay them and I have to take it up with the collection agency. Now with the change of her story I feel I was blatantly lied to. I never received a message or a statement. I still can't understand what happened or why less than 5 minutes with a doctor should ever cost $141. What a waste of my time and money making calls to the office and the collection agency. I asked to speak to the office manager and was told they would call me.
