Bad customer service. I was in desperate need of a hair cut in early December 2013. I called Figaro Salon after reading all of the great reviews and requested Elena. When I called I was told there was absolutely no available appointments until January. Then Elena told me she could fit me in on December 23, 2013, so I took the appointment. Elena made me feel like she was doing me a favour by squeezing me in, she told me she does not usually take new clients, she "books up weeks in advance" and only her regular clients can get an appointment on a Saturday at Figaro. So I got my hair cut, and it was fine. I tried to book another appointment with Elena before leaving the salon, and she refused to book me in before 8 weeks, she asked why I needed to go back before 8 weeks - because I would need my bangs trimmed. She told me "8 weeks will be perfect". So of course, 5 weeks later my bangs were really long and I called Elena on a Friday to see if she could squeeze me in just for a bang trim. She told me to call her after 11am the following day (Saturday) and she'd see if she could squeeze me in. I called at 11am, she told me she thought she had a spot, she would call me around 2pm to let me know. She never called. My advice: Find a salon that treats you better. There's no point in going to this salon if they won't maintain your cut and trim your bangs.
