It's pretty good. I'm not sure how much difference there is between this and Popeyes, though?
The young woman who took our order was very friendly and knowledgeable. She seemed to be working the hardest.
There was a large quantity of chicken cooked and sitting under a warming lamp. I was concerned I was getting chicken that had been sitting around for a while. She assured me the owner/manager knows when the big rushes of people are and the quantity is made accordingly. She said it is tossed after ten minutes if it isn't sold. I don't think that's true, as it took that long to get our food and we ate there, and never saw any chicken discarded. There was a tall guy cooking, and another guy standing around in the back room doing nothing. Our food say under the warmer for a while until I brought it to their attention we were hungry, and the lazy guy from the back packaged it up.
Sides - really liked the Mac and cheese (crumb topping would be nice), okra ok. Cole slaw - too sweet
Dirty rice - not exciting
Fish was good, but we weren't asked and would have preferred catfish. Great tartar sauce. Wish the chicken was spicier.
We have another Groupon, so we'll go back.
It's just OK, though.
