I was looking for a new place to get my nails done as I'm newer to the area and have only gotten them done back home. I used Yelp to try and find a decent place that was clean. One thing I liked was I noticed in the pictures they used the bowl liners for pedicures. I decided to give it a shot.
They were quick to greet me and get me seated. They adjusted the water temp and things were good. I then noticed each tech uses only one set of tools. They do go in back between clients to hopefully sanitize them, but I'm used to having them individually wrapped after sanitation and then used again.
Throughout my pedicure I had to tell her to stop or that it hurt when she was trimming my nails or buffing my feet. Overall, it was very aggressive and painful. While she was very careful and detailed on the Polish, my feet are still sore and she cut a few nails way too far.
What was supposed to be a relaxing treat ended up a very bad experience. I will keep looking for a nail salon...
