In my mind, Fabricland was always the place to go for your fabric needs and possible expertise. Boy was I wrong. Not only were the staff not helpful, they look at you like you're possibly the most stupid person in the world to even ask such a question. i'm a novice in fabrics and sewing so I walk in thinking the staff would be helpful since they work in a store selling only fabric and sewing things.
If you know what you're doing and looking for, you will be fine. Buy your stuff, and get out. But if you need help with different types of fabric, suggestions, or even questions on the products, don't bother. The staff isn't there to help. They prefer to stand around and not do anything. I guess they just don't care.
Fabric selection was good I think. I found what I was looking for, with no help, but I was there for a good 45 minutes.
Would I recommend people to go? Probably not. If you have time, buy online... or go else where.
