Renting a car on our last day in Vegas was a fantastic decision, because it allowed us to visit Red Rock Canyon. We paid $15 for the day and spent around 2 hours in the park. This is an easy drive from Vegas, around 20-40 minutes depending on where you are coming from. We didn't stop at the Visitor's Center and decided to check out the scenic loop to drive around to different stops. The scenic loop was awesome! We stopped at almost every stop and hiked a little bit at most of them. The views were absolutely breathtaking. Pictures do not do justice at all. We loved driving around and taking in the natural beauty of this park. For locals, an annual pass is only $30! Such a steal! I cannot wait to come back to Vegas (more prepared with actual hiking gear) to hike some of the trails in Red Rock Canyon, and to admire the nature there is to see here!
