Sorry Coffee Co. has the modernistic design, good coffee, and humanistic traits that espresso bars should strive for.
The interior design is modern and clean, but doesn't come off as sterile to someone who wants to relax a bit. The marble counter is beautiful, and the fixtures compliment well.
The coffee wasn't bad. Sorry Coffee Co. has far superior coffee compared to large chain coffee bars, yet there is room for improvement. I feel my drink was prepared quick and haphazardly, causing the end product to seem sub-par to what could be. Perhaps the extraction time was short, as my espresso tastes slightly bitter to the pallet without justification of a body to complete the flavor. I'd be willing to wait a few minutes to ensure the espresso was properly dialed-in.
The real treat for me was the coffee cup logos. Monthly they have a new artist take their hand at Sorry Coffee Company's cup design. You can also purchase pins of that month's artist's design. I feel this is the human touch that many coffee-slinging bars miss the mark on.
All-in-all, a coffee bar worth your visit.
