| - I love this little farmers market. It occupies at least a good half hour of almost every Saturday morning in the life of me. I tend to check out Maya Farms first, and I always have to get some salsa from Jordan at The Gardener's Kitchen. Rhiba Farms is always a good place to stop too- great heirloom tomatoes.
There is a great variety of items to choose from, and although there are some random craft tables, that isn't really the pull for me. There is usually some live music happening, as well.
Money wise: It is best to have cash on hand, however, if you happen not to, you can still use your credit card. You get a little slip and each vendor writes down your purchase. Once you are done, you just head to the main market table and they run your card for you, and give you receipts so you can go back and get the items you had set aside for you.
I absolutely love the market, and am glad that I've turned so many of my friends onto the awesomeness that is this local farmer's market. Thank you for existing, PHX Public Market!
