This is for the Service Department part of the business.
My recent visit to Pinnacle Nissan was definitely my last. I've been servicing my 2006 Altima at this facility for several years so you've lost a loyal customer.
These guys bring a new standard to dishonesty in the car business. Not only did they lie about the condition of various parts but the Tech broke a headlight wire and the clip that holds my
hood prop. If that wasn't bad enough, he then decided to gerry rig the hood prop clip with bailing wire. (This is a $3.45 part). He also removed an insulation strip that adheres to the air filter intake port.
Other items that we specifically told them not to do were a Fuel system clean for $299.00, (which they did anyway), and a battery kit which was unnecessary.
The mechanics can't even get tire pressures set correctly. Nissan recommends 29 PSI front and rear. He jacked the pressures to 38 PSI.
Two additional items that they strongly suggested that we replace was the serpentine belt which was replaced 1 year / 5K miles ago. The belt looks as good as a new one... They told me it was full of cracks, not true.
I replaced the cabin filter in December 2013, they recommended replacement stating it was dirty. I pulled it when I returned home and found it was as clean as when I installed it 4 months ago.
These guys are thieves. This was the biggest waste of $1,000.00 I've ever experienced. I'm glad I cut off most of the suggested repairs because they had the bill up to $3,200.00 at one point.
Maybe They're trained to be this way, I'll be sure to share my experience every chance I get.
