  • Their service is a complete joke. I call them to ask if I need to schedule an appointment for an oil change. The guy says yes an appointment is needed and he schedules it. Then the day I get there they didn't even know I was coming in. $36 for an oil change turns into $62 dollar charge. I leave to grab lunch thinking I'm only paying for the oil change then I get a phone call from them saying they need to change the oil drain plug. They didn't even show me the condition of the plug before they took it off my car. For all I know the change wasn't even necessary. This is the second time I've had a Meineke location strip a bolt on some part of my car. I had the guy show me the new and the old bolt and the old one didn't even look stripped. The guy proceeded to treat me like I was stupid and didn't know what I was talking about. Horrible customer service. The receipt they gave me makes no sense at all and the guy at the counter did not bother to explain it to me. I go get a second opinion from Sears and they say it sounds like they might have switched out the bolt for a bigger one that will strip the oil pan.
