| - review on market village location:
I know most people mentioned egg rolls (i personally never buy them) But I do eat them when I visit my mom or grand parents (They always have some on the table) I don't find it that special, it's a crispy egg roll with an eggy taste.
I usually go for the mini egg cakes $3 for 1 or $5 for 2
It depends on who was making it also. the past month, I had it 3 times, and 2 times was a miss and 1 time it was extremely delicious.
1st, I asked for one and the lady just gave me one that was already made and in the bag. It was already in the bag cause when they removed it, it kind of fell apart, whatever i ate it anyways, but it was mushy and not crispy on the outside and cold.
2nd, it was a weekend i believe and there was a line up, there was 2 people making it and one cashier and they were coming right off the grill, it was nice and hot and fresh and the outside was nice and crispy and chewy/soft on inside, super delicious!
the 3rd time, I saw some already made, but i wanted a hot one freshly made, so of course the cashier gave attitude and said I had to wait, but it's OK I'll wait. I waited for about 5-8 mins and it came out soft and mushy not the crispy one I was hoping for, I think she took it out too early.
Will be giving it another try soon, I was disappointed at the texture/quality of it, but the taste is there there, egg-delicious
There is NO price label anywhere and they don't say the price, I asked for what I want and she's just standing there waiting for me to hand her money... so If I don't know the price, she will charge me more? I do agree that the service is horrible, I think they hate their job.
The Pacific mall location that I used to go to more often (but now I'm too lazy to go into the mall and up the escalators) is nicer. and those red bean filled cakes are delicious, kinda like those korean walnut cakes but bigger!
