My husband and mother ordered the "lump crab" bennie. They always order this dish and in the past has been amazing. This is the first time it has not been real lump crab. It was definitely imitation krab, but even after talking to the waiter twice and the chef, they still insisted it was real crab. It made my mother sick and she couldn't eat it. They took hers off our bill ($17.95), but it's troublesome as imitation crab is made out of white fish, not shellfish, which is an allergy issue. Not sure if we can go back after this. It has been our brunch spot for years. Just wish they could have been honest about it.
