Writing this review on my first night. If you read my reviews, then you would know I love Hilton, especially the Doubletree. This Doubletree has not met my expectations so far. As I arrived I stopped by the front desk to see if they needed additional information from me since I completed the app check-in. Front desk responded no and sent me on my way. I always opt for the digital key. My room is located on the first floor (see pictures). Very outdated and has a dark vibe. The furniture reminds me of something from my grandmother house. The TVs are very old. Check out the remote posted under my pictures. I was hoping for a walk in shower, but there is a tub that is rusted. Seems to be there was water damage in the room due to marks on the wall. As for cleanness, upon my arrival to the room, the bathroom trashcan had trash in it. The bathroom sink had a bug in it. There are nats flying around the room. I didn't have the front door or windows open. I went in the bathroom to grab Kleenex. The Kleenex were stuff back in the box as if someone had already taken them out...GROSS!
Day 3 - I had breakfast and the servers were pleasant. Unfortunately the utensils and glasses are not clean. My spoon and fork had old dried food on it. You could tell the utensils were washed, but didnt get clean properly. What makes me more unspent was the utensils were hand rolled in a wrap which means someone say this and still continued to wrap it. It was very disgusting. I requested plastic utensils. In addition, the glasses for the juices were not cleaned. A server watched me examine 3-5 glasses before I ask if I could get a to go cup. She suggested I get a coffee cup. That was the only to-go cups they had.
Tomorrow is my last day here. I will be checking out and NEVER returning
