  • If you know me, I can't stand crowds. I shudder at the thought of going to Scotiabank Theater on a Friday night when a popular movie first comes out (unless its the screen where you can book your seats, but even then..) The other reviews of this place are TRUE! When I am looking for movies, I always see if this AMC has it, despite living 10 minutes away from Sheppard's Cineplex and Empire Theaters at Empress Walk. It is quiet and not many people come here, especially if you are seeing a movie that has been out for some time. Granted, it is busy on Saturday night's, but it's not the same downtown traffic. The only thing I would caution you is sometimes, this AMC doesn't have the most latest movies, but that doesn't matter to me. Ample seating space and quietness is all I ask for when watching movies. You have to come here if the above are important criteria!! By the way, I am a loyal AMC fan so I have the discount card which means you get about $2 off per ticket price! The card is free to sign up so do it! Each of my family members have this card!
