| - I had really high hopes when I went in because of the great reviews and the cute patio. We opted to eat inside because outside was packed. It was really cute and felt like home.
No one was really friendly there. The hostess barely spoke to us and a few servers nearly ran us over. Our server was nice enough, but not super attentive. It was obvious that they were understaffed, as I saw a few bartenders indoors running food outdoors.
That aside, our food was also just mediocre and it took quite some time. Both my fiancé and I ordered burgers, and we waited over 45 minutes for them. We were in the restaurant over an hour a half having diet Pepsis and burgers. No one apologized to us for the wait, but the couple at the table behind us had their meal comped. We aren't big complainers while at restaurants, but we probably should have spoken up tonight, and we didn't. At the same time, I completely understand what it's like to work when you're understaffed and the kitchen is too busy. It sucks. I just wish someone would have told us something, but no one said anything to us. Really, they took our order, and gave us our food. That was it!
Needless to say, we will probably never go back to the Free House.
