  • Look, Li'l Porgy's is perfectly adequate barbecue. But the people saying that it's the best in town are absolutely insane. If you're looking for the best barbecue, you need to be looking at Black Dog, which has made national press for its quality. If you go to Li'l Porgy's you're going to have perfectly fine barbecue. There won't be a wait, and you're not going to wind up breaking the bank. But please don't go in there expecting the best this town has to offer, because it's not even close to the same quality. It's like comparing a Steak 'n Shake burger to a filet mignon.
