I would have given a five star rating as my husband and I absolutely love this place, however, we went last night and it was just a lame experience. The chef had just gotten there. We've never had that chef before. The service was so unbelievably slow last night. Usually they are moving super quick and the seats are cleared and the next set of people are in them in no time. Half the bar was empty at one point and they hadn't even cleaned one of those seats. They asked us what we wanted to drink and I ordered a Sierra Mist, my husband ordered a beer. He finished his beer before the food was done so he asked for water and asked them to refill my Sierra Mist and they refilled it with water. The chef served our food and after pouring it into the bowls he cleaned the excess drops off the rim of the bowl, but then pushed my bowl towards me and it spilled over the side. The pan roast which is usually REALLY delicious was off last night and then just before we left the chef dropped the rice bucket back into its container and splashed my husband and I with water, he didn't even apologize or anything and just kept on with what he was doing. The waiter or whatever he is saw me wiping myself off with a napkin and asked what happened and when my husband told him the chef dropped the rice in there, then the chef apologized. The customer next to me had a shocked look on his face. The experience was definitely garbage. I'm truly glad it wasn't the first experience or we'd never go back. But, if you are looking for an exceptionally delicious seafood dish, this is the place to go. Maybe call in and find out if Ricardo is working first. He's really good and keeps you laughing. Sadly, our favorite chef is no linger there.
