  • Go away, you bothersome customers! That was the attitude when we went to buy PFDs recently. The salesperson studiously ignored us, although we spent a long time puzzling over the many varieties of flotation devices. When we made our selections and approached the register to inquire about accessories, he only sniffed and nodded in the direction of the display we needed. He couldn't wait to get us out of the store so he could go straighten the PFD rack. Never a "hello" or "welcome to our store" or " how can we help you". West Marine...you should know...other stores sell this stuff, too, and that is where we will be shopping.
