  • I'm an out-of-stater and frequent visitor to Las Vegas. I look forward to eating at casino buffets. I consider food quality to be important and subjective but a general given. Overall, the M Resort buffet meets and exceeds all of my standards for a premium dinner buffet. It's comparable in all ways to the best strip buffets. The decor is very contemporary and upscale. The overall layout of the serving counters and the room itself is unique. The atmosphere is lively.Tables, counters, and floors are kept spotless. Foods are well-presented and well-tended. The foods available cover a wide range from standard items that you can actually recognize to numerous specialized, prepared dishes covering various ethnic cuisines. The prime rib, a major factor in my evaluations, has typically been tender and excellent tasting. The chefs are very proactive in trying to satisfy customers. I've never had an overall bad experience here. As with any buffet, your flexibility is the key to satisfaction. On some visits there may be more items that suit my interests than other visits, but that's one of the beauties of any top shelf buffet - there's rotating variety along with quality - and you have the opportunity to sample new items. Unlimted wine and beer are included in the price. There's a substantial array of desserts, if you get into desserts, but I don't think this is its strongest point. The friendly staff does a great job with table service. Management personnel are very visible and accessible; they sometimes even solicit comments from customers as the customers are exiting - somewhat unusual for a buffet. The prices make this place an extraordinary value. Beware of possible long lines after 6PM. Also, be aware that a more expensive weekend seafood brunch/dinner menu is in effect here Friday-Sunday. Visits here are well worth the easy I-15 drive south from the strip. This is one buffet I would take a first-time visitor to in order to show them what good Las Vegas buffets are all about.
