  • Would give them a 3.5 if that was an option. Overall cupcakes were pretty alright. Nothing special. Really got my hopes up based on the reviews. My fiancĂ© and I tried 4 different cupcakes (triple chocolate, strawberries and cream, German chocolate, and salted caramel). I really enjoyed the cake its self, it was very moist, light and fluffy, and flavorful. The frosting is what I had a problem with. The amount of frosting was great for the size of the cupcakes however all 4 frostings were lacking some serious flavor. I was most excited for the German chocolate however there was absolutely NO coconut flavor.... Humm..... I saw plenty of shredded coconut in the frosting so how is that possible? The salted caramel was also lacking big time. It was a chocolate cupcake topped with what tasted like chocolate frosting, with a little caramel drizzle on top. The chocolate on chocolate really overpowered what little caramel there was. Overall the strawberry was the best, but again the frosting was off. It had a gritty sugary texture and no real flavor to speak of. I suppose that I would go back if I was in the area to try a different flavor, but I wouldn't go out of my way, or get any of the same flavors again.
