| - Fun place. As others have said, this is a great family option in Vegas - but it's also a good time with a bunch of adults.
They've done a great job with the art - The glow effect is very strong and the 'flame' paint looks awesome. Wear whites - or better yet, dayglo - to really take advantage of the blacklights.
Since there's only one course it can get backed up. When that happened to us, the staff encouraged us to jump ahead and come back to pick up the current hole later. Good thinking - though we were in no hurry, and got chatting with the group ahead of us - which was fun.
So, it's fun and well done. You'll have a good time. Thus ends the review proper.
But now, one complaint and one caveat.
Complaint: They made a big deal out of keeping track of the scores because there would be prizes at the end. When we finished up, we added up our scores, and waited for the 'prize' guy to become available (which was about ten minutes). Our lowest scorer (me) was given a free game-with-purchase for a future time. That's it. Kinda lame after the buildup. I'd rather have not waited around. It felt like a bad carny bait-and-switch blowoff - which wasn't a nice feeling to end on.
Caveat: There is no place in here to get a drink - not even water. At one point, I was so thirsty that I left the game to grab a drink at the bar just outside of the golf area - but there was no bartender. So I ran over to the gift shop to grab a water - they don't have drinks. Of course, there are no water fountains to be seen. I wound up having to go upstairs to a burger place to buy a soda. It took me almost 20 minutes to get a drink - which was a serious drag of an interruption.
This Mini Golf place is missing an opportunity with no concessions - but even more important, access to water is a big deal here in the desert. It shouldn't be incredibly inconvenient just to buy something to drink.
You can bring drinks in if they're in plastic and not in glassware. Do it.
