| - I love Structube. I really do.
Great design, affordable prices and, personally, good customer service.
I have bought a couch just recently and have been browsing several of their stores/showrooms looking for the one that could better fit in my unit.
I have started my research at the Liberty Village location. I had a general idea of what getting and with the info provided to one of the employees, I was guided through their website to identify few solutions.
Along with the results came a list of the stores where I could have gone in person to check out and try the couches.
In a couple of days I was able to decide what I wanted and after place the order, I requested to have it delivered at home.
Here's where in my personal experience, things went quite differently than a lot of other people I have read to be not satisfied.
Online you will find a lot of unhappy customers who appear not been able to either receive their delivery or having any other sort of problems.
Again, in my personal experience, I had nothing like the other "suffered". After talking with the manager at the LV location, I came to the conclusion that maybe...maybe, some of the possible reasons for lots of dissatisfaction come from lack of detailed info provided by the buyers and their organizational skills.
The delivery company used by Structube called as per agreement, 24 hr after my purchase to confirm when and at between which hours the delivery would have happened. With them, I have gone through all the info in details of where to get into my building for the delivery, which number/s to call for any possible communication with me was needed and who to see/speak once arrived at my condo if I wouldn't happened to be there yet.
Once I got the confirmation from the courier, I have made sure that my plans were also communicated to the building manager and the security at the concierge where I have left clear instructions about what to do if the delivery would have come before I me, like it turned out to be in the end.
Result? Well, my couch arrived, was left where I asked and all went well.
The only reason why I didn't rate Structube a 5 stars is that the head office doesn't allow deliveries to the locations/showrooms, 99% of the time they don't sell large floor items and there is no a warehouse where you could go and pick up your furniture avoiding to pay a $90 something fee for the delivery.
Unfortunately this is nothing the stores can do about it but I hope at least they pass the note to the HO.
FYI: I have referred other 4 people to buy at Structube. NONE OF THEM HAD PROBLEM WITH THE DELIVERY because they have followed my suggestion on how to plan it.
Just saying!
A tip: when you schedule the delivery, as the courier for a courtesy call around half hour from the delivery. That might help.
