  • Before visiting the clinic, I called to ask what the charge would be for a consultation. The person I spoke with indicated that she had called my insurance company and that there would be no out-of-pocket cost for the consultation. After meeting with the doctor and discovering that he would not tell me what the costs would be to have allergy shots, I left and decided against using the clinic. Months later, I received a bill for $179. I called and explained that I was told there would be no out-of-pocket costs for the consultation, and they informed me that I should have called my insurance company to verify that information. They insisted that I pay the balance in full and said it was my fault for relying on their words. I hope others will avoid this clinic in the future and visit one that does a better job communicating payment information.
