I am updating my review with this horrendous company. I'd give negative stars if I could for my second experience. I called to ask for a copy of my old prescription so I can compare my new prescription but they would not give it to me because it had been a year. They said it was a liability and that no one else would let me order glasses with an expired prescription so it doesn't matter anyways. I stated I wasn't using it for that purpose and they are contradicting themselves. If no one will let me order with an expired prescription then why does it matter? I still want to see MY personal information. They stated it's the law to not be able to let me see MY OWN INFORMATION but apparently it's ok for these people (strangers) to see it? I can understand you not being able to give information over the phone so I said I could come in and they can verbally tell me and they said they couldn't do that either, how is that legal? It's not. They claimed hippa won't let them release an expired prescription but I talked to hippa and that doesn't apply for eye glasses or contacts. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Federal Trade Commission. You want to know the real reason they won't release your information because they don't want you going else where, they said multiple times "they won't let you order somewhere else with an expired prescription" it was their MAIN concern which is disgusting. If that's true then they have no "liability" to be concerned about.
