| - I live in an apartment complex that no longer accepts packages in the office. This is okay for UPS, FedEx, and other major carriers, since they will always deliver to the door. The USPS, however, will not.
I don't mind going to this branch to pick up packages, but it is rarely, if ever, an easy evolution. Their pickup hours are terribly inconvenient. Their pickup window closes at 4:00pm on weekdays, and they have a mere 3 hour window on Saturday mornings, so very often there are long waits.
Again, I'm patient and don't mind waiting, but it's 50/50 whether you'll actually get your package. In the past 3 months, I can recall at least 7-8 times where they can't find the package. If you press them to look again, more often than not, they will eventually locate it.
Or other times, they'll say that the courier has the package. But, of course, that makes little sense since the courier is the one who leaves a slip that says the package is located at the post office branch.
Bottom line, this branch is a mess, at least in regards to picking up packages.
