Since this is the only craft store around the area (at least that I'm aware of) I feel like a 3 star rating is adequate. They do have a wide selection of items for many hobbies such as baking, scrap booking, painting, jewelry making, framing, etc.
It's a decent size store and when I'm in the mood to be creative, I typically make a stop here. I do feel that some items are overpriced and that I could just as easily buy something pre-made from the store. B/c when you add up the cost of supplies and tools - you may be spending more than you would at the store. But there is something to be said about making things yourself and investing your time in a hobby that you enjoy.
I do like Pat Catan's in West Mifflin much more as I think their prices are far better than Michael's, but since Michael's is so darn close to me this is usually my go-to craft store.
