My go-to place for poke in downtown. Lots of different choices for toppings but I think they can still make some improvements on their protein. The fish selections are fresh but it's either sauceless (not marinated) or spicy (marinated). Depending on what sauce you choose or how much it's put on, it drastically affects the taste of your bowl. Sometimes, I feel like I'm eating a salad and rice bowl with toppings as opposed to an actual poke bowl. It's definitely not comparable to Hawaii.
The staff here are super friendly (owner's daughter remembers me after one visit), generous portions and prices are on par.
I do wish they have regular ahi tuna (they only have spicy).
