  • Terrible experience. We went here to get a drink at the bar and when we sat down, it seemed we had taken someone's seat (apparently it was obvious because his drink was there-according to the bartender). He then starts nudging one of the men we were with so we decided to move down. While this is happening he is communicating with the bartender and both are glaring at us even after this occurred. We then are looking at the bartender to get a second drink and I kid you not she yells "YOU GOT A PROBLEM" from the other side of the bar. It was at that moment that i realized, "Oh! This bartender is obviously a crazy person. Great." All the while I'm finding this experience hilarious so while she was ignoring us I said "You got a problem?" as she looked my way. This only made her totally lose her mind and she yells "LOOK IF YOU HAVE A F**KING PROBLEM YOU CAN JUST GET OUT!" So we all decided it was probably time to go before the bartender murders us. She then storms to the kitchen and brings out a manager who says "You guys need to leave now." So we, now pretty irritated and confused, told her as soon as we finished our beers we would be out of there. This is when it gets pretty crazy. The manager storms out from behind the bar, towards us and grabs my beer out of my hand, spilling some on me (which I really don't care that much about but still) and goes to grab a woman we were also with's drink out of HER hand. Now she had a full drink so she was a little less than thrilled that they were taking it away after we had paid for it, so she refused to let her have it. THEN the bartender lunges for the drink and is on top of this woman, grabs the drink and we pretty much spring out to the applause of the staff. I really don't write reviews unless the service/food is really bad or if it's really good. It seems we were profiled as we walked in for not being locals and we were definitely treated differently. It's clear that the Diamond no longer cares about their customers and will willingly jump on top of a lady to get her drink from her. We didn't even get to try the food so I can't speak for that. But our trip to the Diamond was super weird and we won't be going back (not that they would want us back). This one stuck with me- Tread carefully.
